The competition aimed to achieve integration among a variety of cuisines. It blended with the school’s vision as it offered a realistic work environment with real-world culinary skills and work experience for students later entering hotel management.
Foodshala was conducted for home chefs to showcase their culinary skills and prove their worth by creating a dish that is worthy of a place in the competition. The judges were elated to taste the sumptuous cuisines and were overwhelmed by the quality of food. The selected few made it to the finals after qualifying the preliminary round.
The competition gave students experiential learning and exposure of the real world, which they would have not attained through textbook knowledge.
