The “Earthlings” are the heartbeat of our sustainability movement. This student-led group drives the school’s ecological mission through practical, high-impact actions.

• Waste Management & Recycling: We implement rigorous segregation and recycling programs across our JVC campus. Our students lead “Paperless days” and plastic-reduction campaigns to minimize our carbon footprint.
• Energy Conservation: JSSIS is committed to optimizing energy use. Students actively monitor classroom energy consumption to promote mindful habits.
• Sensory Gardens & Urban Farming: Our campus features green spaces where students learn the science of organic farming and the importance of biodiversity, bringing them closer to the source of their food.

• Global Solidarity: JSSIS regularly organizes donation drives and charity events in collaboration with registered UAE non-profits (such as Emirates Red Crescent) to support disaster relief and underprivileged communities.
• Inclusion & Support: Our commitment to Students of Determination is a core pillar of our CSR. By providing “Very Good” rated support and specialized learning environments, we ensure that every child has an equitable path to success.
• The “Value of Giving”: Through bake sales, “Joy of Giving” weeks, and community service projects, our students develop the emotional intelligence and empathy required to lead in a diverse world.
