Grade 2 classes observed the World Environment Day with this thought in mind and conducted the “Family STEM Day” with “Sustainability” as the theme. The experiments ranged from making a model of a landfill to a display of the process involved in rain water harvesting. Parental involvement and student engagement added extra value to the activity. Sustainable practices were reinforced through the 3 Rs.
