International Literacy Day is celebrated every year on the 8th of September to highlight the importance of literacy for individuals and the society. Recognising the importance of reading and to mark the occasion of International Literacy Day, Department of English (Middle School) celebrated Literacy Week from the 11th of September to the 14th of September, 2023.
Literacy Week, a week-long celebration was a vibrant tribute to the joy of reading and learning. This event was dedicated to inspiring and nurturing a love for literature, honing language skills, and promoting literacy within our student community. Through various engaging activities and initiatives, Literacy Week aimed to empower young minds with the transformative gift of words and knowledge. It was a reminder that literacy is not just a skill; it is a bridge to imagination, understanding, and personal growth.
